Sometimes but I don't really ever remember them. A few nights ago I had a dream I was eating beef jerky that was impossible to swallow, woke up chewing on a dip of Skoal. I posted it on here and only one person replied so I'm sure it's happened to several people. I believe that's what that means.

The worst ones are the dreams where I'm standing at the toilet. Never had a dream that I was sitting on the toilet......yet. God that would really be awful

Most folks would have dreamed about fishin with grandpa or dad or someone they miss. How I came up with that combination I'll never know.

After I got bit by a rattlesnake, first and second time I had reoccurring dreams that I was getting bit by a snake pretty much every night. One night I had a dream I was in a corner and I was barefoot and a rattlesnake was striking at me. I couldn't go nowhere. Woke up and one of my legs was sticking up in the air.

Yep I'm a hard sleeper and have vivid dreams often. Some are strange and some are just about normal stuff. I can't always remember them but some stick with me.

I mostly have dreams about people I've known that aren't on earth with me anymore if they're strange dreams.

Melatonin is a dream maker.

I have numerous every night, can remember a few - usually something will trigger the memory of it throughout the day.

I had one the other day that my boss hired a Cajun to be on my shift.
Wasn't a bad thing, just odd.

Y’all ever have a dream where you feel like you are falling and you wake up for a split second feeling like you are falling? I mostly get these when I take any kind of sleeping aid but a pretty frequent occurrence

Woke myself, and the wife, the other night laughing. I had been hanging out with Johnny Knoxville in my dreams but couldn't remember what he was doing.

Yeah and I've also had ones where my mind was awake but my body wasn't. I couldn't move or anything. Think it's called sleep paralysis. Could just be making that up too but I think that's what it is.

I have a lot of strange ones. Most are work or hunting related.

This year a few days before bow season I had a dream I showed up to the woods and there were guys everywhere (I hunt public). I walk into the woods and it's a shopping mall with guys roaming al over wearing camo and orange. I walk around for a while until I see a girl in the corner of the food court motioning for me to come over. I get there and it is Hayden Panettiere. She leads me down a long hallway that ends in the most beautiful East Texas thicket you could imagine. Of course I wake up right then. Seems I knew ahead of time the woods would be busy this year.

NyQuil will really put the weirdness into overdrive.

A few nights ago I was dreaming that I was yelling or screaming. I dont remember why or who at. I do remember waking up and thinking to myself was that out loud?
The next day I asked my wife was I yelling in my sleep? She said you scared the dogs with six ahhhhs in a monotone voice.

YES! I'll also have hunting/fishing dreams just like the fight dreams. Monster buck, but can pull my bow back. Huge fish, but can't get it in the boat.

I had a good one a few nights ago. I was back in College Station trying to determine if we had class or not that day. I went to campus to ask my prof directly, and found Kirk Herbstreit sitting in his office. We began discussing college football at length, then decided to go fishing together. I woke up and immediately thought "that was a pretty coool dream" lol. Never did figure out if I missed class or not.

I commonly have very vivid dreams that I usually remember pretty clearly the next day. Always have.

A high fever often will give me visual and audio hallucinations also. Weirdo I guess.

I've had some weird and very vivid dreams but it's been many years. They usually involve some mix of family, guns, and non-existent creatures. If I filled in the details, I'd likely get committed. It is strange how I can remember the details of some dreams and others, not a single second.

100% positive that a bowhunting forum is not the best place to suggest this, but if you ever want to experience profound fully conscious dreaming, spend 90 minutes in a float tank.

My dreams are not so much weird ones, but nightmares. Several times a week, I have very vivid and quite often terrifying nightmares and they are always about ghosts. Always trying to get me and hurt me. Sometimes I know it is a dream, and in that dream, I will scream to wake myself up, only to realize I have actually screamed. I have to lay there a few minutes to clear my head. If I close my eyes right away, all I see is the ghost/ghosts. It sux.

No, all natural, and the worst thing that happens is you come out of it very relaxed. A float tank is essentially a sensory deprivation tank. Completely devoid of sound, light, smell, etc. The tank has about 1 foot of water in it with 1200 lbs of salts dissolved. This makes the water able to support your entire body weight with no effort on your part. You float perfectly on your back at a temperature at a temperature that your body feels is neutral, resulting in the cancellation of sense of touch.

When the lights dim and gradually go pitch black, you just relax and breathe slowly and evenly. At first your brain will go into high gear, grasping for something to focus on. Then it settles. As you continue to breathe your brain activity begins to flow very gently, and thoughts wash ashore and then go back out like waves at the beach. Then as you continue to just breathe and observe your subconscious mind will come to the surface and you may experience hallucinations. I saw the sun appear in the tank and open like a geode, but the most remarkable experience I had was that for a period of about a half hour I thought I was sitting upright on a bench thinking to myself. Then as I breathed in I realized I was still in the tank. Things like this flowed in and out until the lights gradually came back on. Not everyone will experience this but if you just focus on breathing and not worrying about what might/should happen, your mind will be free to roam.

Edit: important note - any visual hallucinations pale in comparison to the experience of your mind naturally transitioning into and out of the subconscious.

I was on a lease for nearly 40 years, and then it sold. I had dreams off and on about it for a couple of years. The two I remember was: 1) I was sneaking back in there to hunt, and I'd almost get caught! 2) I still had the lease, but when I pulled up to hunt I saw the land owner had bulldozed the entire place! Crap, I'll probably dream about it tonight now that I told somebody!!! Lol

I had one a few years ago that sticks with me.

In the dream I was on a lease that had assigned fenced off sections for each hunter. I was in my assigned area and getting ready to squeeze the trigger on what would have been my biggest buck ever when a shot rang out and my buck dropped. I looked around and the lease bosses kid who was assigned to the next section had shot the buck from across the fence. When the situation was brought up to the lease boss his response was "Guess it sucks to be you".
