Harsin is 69-19 as a HFC. He has more experience than Chad Morris. I think it will be interesting to see his staff, especially his DC. My question for Harsin is he willing to get dirty and how much he will operate in the gray.

I was surprised by that win and loss record. I remember his lackluster time as the Texas OC.

Here is what I do not understand......
I would have loved to see a Texas team in the top 4, even if it was the Ags. It didn't happen.

Some of you say that tOSU is terrible and should have no way got the bid, but they are only 8 pt dogs to Clemson, who some think have a chance of winning it all. Will Clemson beat their brakes off, then Alabama beat their brakes off, or is Ohio State good enough to be in the equation. It's hard to say they suck but only be 8 pts behind Clemson.

There are TOO MANY bowls games, so far this year 14 have been cancelled and I don't think thats necessarily a bad thing, there are still 28 left this year to be played, 42 bowls games is nuts. I went back and did a little research, in 1992 there were 18 bowl games total https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1992_N...ootball_season

They also didn’t have the wear and tear of playing 5 more games as Alabama. For example Waddle and starting center injuries.

It doesn't matter if they're good enough, they havn't played a legitimate schedule. Shouldn't be eligible, period.

Here is what I do not understand....why do you care how many bowl games there are? You're not forced to watch. Change the channel. The kids deserve a fun outing at the end of the year.

Jeff K and Dale I can agree 100% percent to this as the wear and tear on the body absolutely plays a major role in a teams strength down the line. As conferences were opting out and then falling back into place, this should have been addressed by the ones in charge and the ones that had been playing and losing key players. Was more addressing the issue of, are they not good enough to be there, or are they not deserving to be there. By points spread against Clemson, it appears as though they are good enough. Again, I see your point on not deserving due to lack of schedule.

Because they used to be important, now teams with losing records make bowls and this isn't the first year for that to happen its been that way a few years, while were at it lets just let all 32 NFL teams into the playoff tournament every year.

Have you head some of the commentators for these early lower tier bowl games, its hilarious they are totally mailing it in, its like a vacation for them, even they know these games don't mean squat.

Third night in a row I have college football on my TV. I like it. One can differentiate between the important ones and the meaningless ones. Watch the ones you want. It's pretty simple.

The rich get richer and the gap widens!

The CFP works that way. Give us 8 teams and allow more kids and fans to participate in the CFP.
