Default She Likes Her New AR!

Went pig hunting down south this afternoon with my favorite hunting partner. 5 minutes after the feeder went off this happened.

100 yards quartered away with 62 grain Barnes TSX. She made it about 60 yards. 125 lbs.

I should never have let mine fondle my new Savage MSR 6.8spc. I think she has evil designs on it already.

Sweet dead pigness right there.

BTW, if you should ever find your accuracy lacking, there are those in the AR world that frown on mounting the scope mount base on both the receiver and the free float handguard. If it's working well for you, more power to ya- those dead pigs are showing it works.
If you ever want to tighten up the available groups, this might be something to consider changing.

If you already knew this, by all means ignore my post.

Congrats on the kills.

Correct! I noticed that the front handrail on my Savage MSR can shift even when torqued down as tight as possible. If this happens the front of the scope is going to shift. Same thing with my Saber Defence M4. A cantilever base mount is the way to go if you need the scope mounted farther forward.
