Gonna shoot the elderly, women and children first I’m sure. To make an example.

Can each individual state enforce stricter border security? Seems like whatever washington wants is what we get.

Seems like the border cities could enforce tougher restrictions for border security, just like the city of Austin and the mask mandate.

Please- Theyíre no longer ďillegal aliensĒ since words hurt. Call them what they are- UDVs.

Undocumented Democratic Voters.

If they were Russians and Ukrainians who would vote Republican- theyíd close the border tomorrow.

Situation is so much more complex than what meets the eye. Both political sides are off. As someone who works in ag in the RGV I see and hear a lot. They are not all drug dealing terrorist just like they are not all women and children looking for a better life. The SSS comments make my physically ill. Spend a day in their shoes some of my best friends are migrant workers with no papers. I’m not saying opening the gates is the solution, but there is much more to the issue than meets the eye.

Iíve never actually seen one, but we had one dead in a deer blind in 2019. Thatís the sheriff and coroner in the pic. Last year showed up to a well lived-in camp house. Other side of that water is Mexico (amistad).

Yeah, well what is your solution genius?
Let em pour through and pillage our people, rape your daughter maybe, take your job or whatever you want to fill in the blank with?
That seems like a stellar plan .
So we'll let em come, as many as they want, until your country & society has been brought to the ground, I love it!
Lot of stupid all right .

I donít have a daughter, so that ones out. Sure there are some real dirtbags coming across, but there are some really great PEOPLE coming across too. We are talking about people in this thread after all.

The border could be closed if people in charge wanted it closed. That should be the plan

Iím not going to shoot anyone unless they try to harm me or my family. Someoneís ideas donít make them my enemy, their actions make them my enemy. Iím not going to shoot someone for trespassing either. Their life matters more to me than that, until they cross the line.

You are entitled to your opinion, and Iím allowed to whole heartedly disagree with it.

I guess Texas can stage buses at the border and all the catch and release be loaded up and dumped in DC.

Send it to San Francisco, Portland, Seattle, Chicago, Minneapolis, Philadelphia, New York, DC or any major liberal city that wants open borders. I'd even be willing to send them to a major city in Canada like Toronto.

That said how much does a charter bus cost?

News alert, they are loaded on a bus sent from Laredo to San Antonio then fed by some charity then bused to a city of choice
I am sure the rgv is bus to corpus then Houston or Dallas, Austin San Antonio, and then destinations of choice across USA

IMO the immigration process needs to be simplified and less lengthy/costly. I’m NOT saying let everyone in, not by a long shot, but with the current system, a lot of them just choose to do it illegally.

Something like pay $100 to apply, have to prove you can communicate very basically in English, have a job lined up and a place to live, prove who you are with no significant criminal history, if approved you get an ID and work permit for 6 months. Not eligible for ANY welfare, government funded health insurance, etc.

You’re basically on “parole” and have to meet with someone once a month to verify you’re keeping up your end of the deal. Miss one appointment and you get a warning, miss two and you’re flagged for deportation.

After 1-2 years, you can apply for citizenship. Have several people vouch for you, be basically fluent, and have been paying taxes.

Side note, what a lot of the liberals/poors clamoring for a $15/hr minimum wage don’t realize is it will increase the numbers of illegals hired tenfold.

We had another chase through the ranch yesterday.
A van and suv picked up a group off a ranch by the airport in Falfurrias. The chase began and in an attempt to get away they started a fire on that ranch. The two vehicles split up. One headed for premont and the other through our place. They drove through the north fence and managed to get away. The other group jumped out at the stripes station in premont and fled on foot.

I wish it was just foot traffic. We get the chased and bailouts too...usually 1-2 vehicles carrying 8-10 at a time. DPS has been chasing them only a weekly bases. They take down multiple fences with stolen trucks leaving a trail of parts and clothing through the property. This has happened 4 times since the start of deer season.

What are policies other countries have? What do you have to do to move from Texas to Mexico legally? What do you have to do to be able to get to the money their citizens have paid to the government?

There have been quite a few police officers and innocent civilians killed by these 'good' people that are coming here illegally. Sure some are 'good', but just how many good Americans are you willing to lose to this crowd?
I was lucky, I only had a truck totaled by one that didn't have a driver's license and apparently didn't know that 'rojo means stop'...

Put an ozonics in it, close it up and let it run until the battery dies... Open it up and let it air out... That got the owl funk out of a blind I had once. Buddy had buzzards build and raise young in his and he did the same thing to get rid of the smell...

We would find them sleeping in deer stands, taking corn out of the feeders. But what really pizzed everyone off was when they went to cutting poly water lines. That's when it became a problem. The ones we would talk to would tell you the "lights". Meaning the radio towers by the YO. That's where there ride picked them up I guess.

As you probably know t hff ere are bodies in the river on a daily basis. If BP recovered all if them that's all they would do do. I'm pretty sure the boat captains just dont see them anymore.

Illegal Immigration has been a crisis for as long as I can remember. Our elected officials (both parties) have failed "We the People".

The only thing you can count on is they will continue to waste our tax dollars with the appearance of border security. At least with "the wall" we could see a tangible benefit of our tax dollars.

It's similar to the "war on drugs" Been spending billions of dollars every year for decades and the drug crisis continues to get worse.

I no longer have faith in our Government.

I plan t,o have that put in a contract with some consequences if violated. If more people did that, then less would come. And, it is only illegals I'm talking about

Our place in Freer had more illegals than cactus and mesquite trees. Never ever came to camp but would walk up to you. One group of 16 with 2 pregnant females did pose for a picture for us after thy wandered up on us asking for directions. We did call BP because of the concern for the 2 pregnant ones. After that the lease owner kicked us off for “other” reason’s. She was giving them a safe haven on the ranch.
