    Truck tires on SxS

Thinking to put a/t truck tires on my ranger crew xp. Can’t be any taller than it is now with factory tires so it still fits in garages. Anybody done this? I remember a thread with pics of someone’s but can’t find it. I’ll probably get a separate set of rims to mount on so I can put the regular tires on when needed.

I ran 31X9.50X15 buckshots on mine... Tires will outlast the ranger!

Ha I know that’s true, I put some buckshots on a cj5 around 93 that were still on it last time I saw it (no longer mine).

Your’s is what I’m thinking but not sure I can make it in garages with 31.5, the seatback on hirack is slightly higher than the roof.

Is your suspension factory or you have a lift?

They are making them again in a couple of sizes. I may put some on an old beater of a CJ5 I have.

I believe you can get BFG A/Ts and General A/Ts down to 27" or 26" on a 14/15" diameter rim. Depending on your year model that gets you to factory size.

My 2019 1k with 28s and no lift/a probox roof fits in my garage by a few inches.

Yeah BFG is actually making an ATV tire for 14” rims

Try Tusk Terrabites. They are awesome and you could use stock rims. No more flats and ride great.

Mine is a 2020 guessing it has 28's too?

edit: googled looks like factories are 27's. Guess I need to do some measuring to see what I can get away with.
