It’s 2 different courses.

One is 50 targets/day, and you shoot both days for a 100 target cumulative score.

The other is a 25 targets/day, and you shoot both days for a 50 target cumulative score.

You pick which one you want to sign up/compete in.

It’s 50 one day and 50 the next for all but the short course . The short course is 25 and 25

Who all is going this weekend??

Supposed to be heading out in the morning as long as nothing crazy happens the rest of the day around work or the house. Sure missed not getting to shoot last year due to Covid.

I’d love to attend this event and it’s not that far from me, but as long as I have kids living at home it will be impossible to make it on a holiday weekend...

It was a great setup, almost the same as always, but with a few differences along the backside creek. Great to be amble to shoot here again! One more round to go in the morning.

Cowtown has a decent property to work with and John and crew try to make it interesting.

Great job David and crew ! Always one of the best traditional shoot in Texas . Had a great time, enjoyed meeting some new friends and visiting with old friends. Course awesome as usual.

Was as good as it always is for sure. David and his crew have one of the best run/organized shoots there is. The course always has a great mix of small and large targets with lots of variations in between in shot distances/angles and it held up to those expectations once again.

I was thinking since it got shut down last year due to covid that it would be a big turnout this year, but was very surprised and even a little sad to see it was the lowest turnout that I can remember. Really wish it could get back up to the full roster of 250 registered shooters like it used to be.

As usual it was a great course and David's crew was superb. I was a little surprised at the changes since I last shot the course.

Are the scores posted anywhere?

Really, the only changes were along the back creek and out of necessity since there was too much water in the creek to allow crossing it back there.

Seems like the last time I shot the course there was a bow check. Couldn't find it this time. That must have been a change.

Turn out was a lot less than I expected. I sure hope this doesn’t fade away! This is the best shoot imo.
