It's no secret that we have some very large pigs on our place. They usually show up in October after the corn has been harvested. We had some that well are well over 300 lb.
In October I shot a 145 lb boar hog at 10 yards. Wednesday evening a shot an even bigger hog and while I did not weigh her I'm sure she's over 200 lb.
I shot her at 12 yards from my tripod. While the broadhead passed through both lungs it did not punch through the opposite side skin. The skin was bulging though.
The remarkable thing - she ran 15 yards, stopped, reached around and broke the arrow. Then ran 35 yards before dying!
I wished I had video of it.
