Pedestal for my aoudad mount

.....hopefully. Going on an aoudad hunt in a few weeks and figured I’d try my hand at a pedestal. Really happy with how it turned out. Thanks to my new table saw and brad nailer, it made it a lot easier. Figured if I’m lucky enough to take one, I’ll have my taxi do a wall pedestal and then just screw the back of that to the 2x2 I have sticking up. Anyone else do this before?

Thank you. And yea, the thought did cross my mind when I seen the prices for these things!!! ($600-700!!) But nah, I’m not good enough for that. Just like piddlin around the house.
