            6 yrs- I know my Welder-McCann deer. He's got a lot of that red, Ivery island strain in him. Those deer don't show age like the grey/brown ones. The knees are a dead giveaway. You cant' put knee callous like that on a 4 year old. And if Brett ages him younger, I have several 6+ yr throw down jawsets if you need one

                      I saw his knees and wasn’t sure if it was callouses or mud. It had rained 1-2 days before I got there.

                              It's not mud (alth I understand why you would hesitate)- You can see the white hair around knee area also getting lighter as it begins to get brittle. Those deer seem to get whiter lower legs when they get older also.
