Just got Home, Red Hines Success.

Well here is the story, Guide took me out and we got in blind at 5:30, A group oh hines and a huge male stag came in right at dark. Guide said take the first big hines in front, so I put the scope on her and pulled the trigger, felt like I made a good shot. Then guide told me first shot was a clean miss, by now they have turned and are running away, he said shoot again if you have a shot, so I put down on another and let it go, felt like I made another good shot, but guide told me, think you missed that one two. Now I'm no expert but I have been shooting penny size groups with my 6.5 Grendel at 100yds for a while now and thought no way I missed those hines. So we get out of blind walk about a 150 yds guide looks over the hill that they ran down and guide said O shoot, there laid 2 big Red Hiness about 20yds. apart

Had similar happen to a friend on an elk hunt,
Didn’t turn out as well as yours. Guide flipped on him and turned into a “he said” rodeo and he had to see the judge.
