Nothing's been reported here in Graham about it. At least not that I've heard and my neighbor is always keeping me posted about stuff he/his wife hears on the scanner.

But you never know. I sure hope nothing's starting up again!

              Rhoades Ranch fire still burning

              Mineral Wells Index

The Rhoades Ranch Fire in north central Palo Pinto County, southeast of Graford, continues to burn.

The Texas Forest Service reports the fire at 2,500 acres in size with no containment. The fire is burning in very heavy fuels and rough terrain.

The TFS said a Type 3 Incident Management Team organization will be put in place today.

The fire erupted Monday afternoon in the area west of FM Road 337, bounded by FM Road 4 to the west and the Brazos River to the south.

The Texas Forest Service has provided aerial fighters and volunteer firefighters from across the area have fought and continue to fight the blaze.

not at Possum Kingdom - it is about 10-12 miles East of Possum Kingdom in a very low populated area of farm/ranchland

Can things burn twice? Figured it all burned up the first time.

Hopefully it gets under control quick. It's done so much damage out there already
