    Arrow Saw

Needed to cut some shafts. Already had a dremel so I just picked up some aluminum angle and a couple 2" U bolts. The wood and fasteners I already had.

The shaft lays in the chanel and the plate slides.

That looks pretty good! Might take some ideas from it and redo my diy arrow saw?

As long as you use a squaring device to clean up the business end you are golden. Looks great.

Cool deal. I just made one too. Got a small cut off saw at harber freight for about 30 bucks. Works great.

It cuts it square. The shaft slides perpendicular into the blade, like on a miter guide.

CAUTION!! Make sure you take care of the carbon dust. Use a vent fan and or respirator when cutting carbon shafts. A shop vac can help when you place it in the right place. A wet towel lawing under the saw can help collect the dust. You do not want to inhale the dust.
The saw looks like it can work, nice design!!
