Davis Mountains

I drove through West Texas to Las Cruces in August. I was amazed at the green up out there. I've never seen it like that.

My God.....what a incredible set of pics.....holy schizz !! This makes my heart truly melt, as I haven't seen the Davis mountains for 30 yrs. Must go soon, as it was the place Dad took us as youths from Odessa....

Great pics! I love that area... you are in the mountains, but still in Texas and there is muley and elk.

I recognize that second picture. It is a pull over spot before you get to the Observatory. My boys and I liked glassing right there.
