          yes its a corral.

No, it doesn't need to die unless you have small kids in the area. Leave him alone and he will leave you alone.

Don't post that rime on any snake group pages, the will lose their crap because there are a few exceptions to the rime.

To add on to BBoswell's comment, "never trust the rhyme, it will get you in time"

There is always exceptions and mutations when biology is involved. Be careful out there.

I wouldn't kill it, but I also wouldn't try sticking my pinky in it's mouth. I've only seen a couple in the wild in my life-time.

I used to catch those baby ones and keep them as pets when I was a kid.
Carried one to school one day and pulled it out of my shirt pocket to show the biology teacher. Didn't know he was afraid of snakes especially baby ones. He ran backards and screamed like a girl and I got detention after school for a month. They are very docile snakes and I have never had one even strike. they act just like rough earth snakes when you handle them.

That’s a coral. No doubt about it. Very docile snakes.

You have a better chance of Nancy Pelosi joining the Proud Boys than you do of getting bit by a coral snake.
