Might seem odd but how tall is your wife? Mine is just a shade under 5' so I've been looking at the youth bows over at 3Rivers Archery. The Mohegan comes in a bow with a DW of 28lbs at 26".

Started my wife with a light weight Samick Sage. Very inexpensive $130-140 sometimes you can find them for less. They are good beginner bows that shoot well. My brother killed his first two trad whitetails with a 40# Sage.

I've got an old recurve, Ben Person if I remember correctly. I refinished it years ago and it has no labels on it anymore.

64in, RH, just re-checked on the scale. 35@28, 30@26.

The kids shot it, along with a couple of old Bear "Little Bear" recurves when they were younger. Nothing fancy, but it shoots good.

I'm in Belton. You're welcome to borrow it until your wife decides she wants something else to shoot. It just hangs on the wall, the grandkids aren't big enough yet. :-)
