Ive been noticing pink ribbon all around my area. Iv thought someone had used them to walk into a spot or something. Well I finally followed the ribbons and it looks like a big *** looop like someone is actively cutting mountain bike trails in.

They've been cutting branches etc all through the area.. To many people live to close on the North side of the lake now..

We must be in the same area. I've noticed the ribbons as well. And then the dirt bike pic would make more sense a although I'm off the trail surrounded by trees. He would have had to known it was back in there. You would run into it by accident.

It is just going to get worse. There are about 5 small neighborhoods on my street now. I get notices and offers to sell my place so they can put multiple houses on it. With this comes more kids. We were all kids at one time. If you backed up to this area as a kid I’m sure every one of you would have broken some rules. I know I would have

I've only had one incident of someone coming into my spot this season that I know of and they stole my Game cam. Outside of that I haven't captured any other pics of people.

I have however heard tons more people this year in the area off the trails while Im sitting. Last year it was a lot quieter. There also was tons of doe in the area last year, however this year they are all but gone. :/

This is the only decent buck I've seen and even he is going and small. Got potential to be something nice if he can get 2 more years.

Yup, I'm thinking we're in the same area. Lots of Spikes! We had a really nice buck that I watched out there last year come back again this year and he had massive tines but either someone came in to the area or he wandered off and got himself shot (saw him in a post on FB) :/

Were any bucks killed out there this year yet? From what I’ve heard and seen on here, seemed like a tough year.

So was able to get out this morning in hopes of getting some meat and had two doe and one buck who already dropped his antlers were hanging out at the feeder. I waited for them to calm down and got into full draw waiting for the angle and this man and his dog come hiking through. The man yells, “hello” as he clearly saw the feeder and the deer ran off. He stated “oh man, im sorry” and I just had to laugh. Just can’t catch any breaks this season. Looks like I won’t be back next year unless I get a good number. I have tomorrw and will try to double arrow two does on closing day. Lol

Good luck and do a live hunt. I got work tomorrow.

Don't know if I'm pulling my set this weekend or not. Think its supposed to rain.

I tried a new spot. Way to crowded in the area and the deer just never came to the feeder at any set time.

Thankful I got a deer on my buddy's place.

Don't think I'm putting in for next season. Maybe time to finally get on a lease.

After I shot a doe at my buddy's place, I really didn't have that motivation to only be able to hunt does.

I will offer this now for you guys. I spend a fair amount of time on the trails. I have walked most of the North part of the lake. If anyone wants to go on a hike I can show you a spot that I have bumped deer and it does not get a lot of pressure. It will be about a 2 mile walk in and out is the only problem.

I would have been upset. I wonder if it is the same guy and dog that came in my spot 1 evening.

Out now for last hunt.

I talked to him this morning and he said season is closed. I'll be out this weekend to get my stuff. I also asked for a tag count on does and bucks that were taken and haven't heard back yet

On another note, does anyone know of any public turkey hunting spots? Went to San Angelo last year but looking for something different this year.

Only thing close that I know about is Ft Hood. You'd have to buy the permit $125.00

I'm tire kicking getting one.

Other than that you'll have to hunt TPWD in east part of Texas.

My understanding was that 1 mature doe got you exempt, but 2 before you could shoot a buck this year.
