Default Molasses Cookies

Hubby bought some molasses so I needed to make these.

Molasses Cookies

2/3 c margarine
1 1/2 c sugar
4 Tbsp molasses
2 eggs
2 1/2 c flour
2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 t salt

Add margarine and sugar together; add molasses and eggs. Add flour, soda, salt, and cinnamon into mixture. Mix. Roll into balls. Roll in sugar. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 12-15 minutes at 325.

Those look really good. Have you tried adding 1/2 tsp ginger and 1/2 tsp ground cloves?

No, you donít need to smash them as the dough is soft. Hope you try them.

Do you ship. About 55 years ago My neighbors granny always made them and I would walk 2 miles to her house and she would make coffee and I would dip them in the coffee and eat them That's the last time I drank coffee but still love those molasses cookies.
