Made it today. Not bad but the cream of chicken kinda ruined it for me. I'm not a fan. Will probably skip that step next time.

Made the original version for SB today but also added 1lb Owens hot sausage, a full block of Velveeta and half a stick of cream cheese. The fam agrees it's the best queso I've ever made.

Does this work with ground venison or does it need to be a breakfast sausage?

Bumping this up, making some for the super bowl. Adding in some breakfast sausage and substitute with some cream of mushroom.

Go to the deli and get white American cheese! Much better than velveeta.

Well folks, pay attention to your ingredients. I screwed up and bought sweetened and condensed instead of evaporated milk. Didn’t realize until I took my first bite. Condensed and evaporated are NOT the same thing.

Haaaa, sorry for laughing at your misfortune but that sounds like something I would do. I have to say I love sweetened and condensed milk but it for sure doesnít sound good in queso.
