Well the last day of her hunt ended extremely well! I got a FaceTime call at 7:31 this morning with her telling me that she shot an axis doe and couldn’t stop shaking! This is her first time hunting by herself and she was very successful. The blind change ended up being a great idea. She said two doe came out of the trees and were heading to the feeder and I’m almost certain they didn’t make it to the feeder before she shot her lol! She ran about 20-30 yards then dropped! She said the staff was great and very helpful. They helped her guy, skin and quarter out the doe. The main guy was very nice and told her to tell people to continue to put in for the draw and they love having the hunters out there and it does good for the park. So I am guess some type of leadership change has happened and there is a very positive attitude vibe from the staff towards the hunters. I have read a lot of post saying it was a bad experience and and the staff doesn’t like the hunters being out there and it’s a waste of there time. Glad to see things change for the park and hopefully things will only continue to go up. The big circle on the last pic is apparently the world largest possum walking by her axis lol
