After getting warmed up on a hog last month, my daughter has been getting ready for deer season by alternating between her chipmunk 22 and momma's 300 blackout, we were pretty impressed that she could take the recoil from the AR on her 40lb frame and decided she was ready to try for her first deer.
We got a call last week from a cousin that they were needing some deer culled for their MLD program, we jumped at the chance and headed to the woods yesterday evening for a doe or management buck, I'll let the video tell the rest....

She was shooting a 110 grain hornady vmax from the blackout performed just as expected and the deer only traveled about 35 yards. We had a proud little girl last night with her first trophy under her belt!
