Favorite broadheads and why?

I've shot Thunderheads for over 20 years and been very happy with their results. I've tried several along the way and have always gone back to these. From deer and hogs to elk these heads have performed well.

I do have a package of Rage 2 blades that I might try this season...I hear and see pics that they leave an incredible hole and great blood trails.

You will get many, many different opinions on this question...and everyone is right. The best broadhead for you to use, is the one that is the sharpest, and the one that you have the most confidence in......

I like Slick Tricks cause they punch big holes.

Mechanicals (closed in flight, open on impact) reduce the amount of bow tuning you need to do, some guys love them, others hate them, and it's as bad as guys fighting over those 2 different big colleges yall have in Texas.

I found Thunderheads flew great, and were very sharp out of the package. Lately I shoot the 2-blade Magnus on my recurve and compound since its deadly and flies like my Thunderheads. Plus they're cheap with a lifetime warranty, and somebody taught me how to put a razor edge on them with a file.
