Coyote escaped snare but not my bullet

Went coyote hunting last night with a couple TBHers, who are also family. We called in some yotes and had a successful hunt. I had a bit of a surprise when I got to the one I shot. She had a snare around her neck! Apparently she got stuck in a snare and twisted around enough until the wire broke!

Dang! It’s amazing what they can do to pull from a trap or a snare! I remember the first coyote I ever caught in a foot trap. As I went to put a shot in him he made a final pump and pulled out. That was more than 20 years ago and I bet that coyote is still running!

                  Good hunt!
I checked my pics this weekend and had of a big coyote eating corn at my feeder with deer eating at the same time! Didn't know they eat corn.
