    Venison Smoked Skillet Queso

Had a hankerin and threw this together this evening and the fam loved it. Lots of recipes for queso but this one is super easy without a lot of ingredients.

    1lb venison burger
    1 white onion
    2 jalepeños
    1 large tomato
1 large block of regular velveta
1 large block of white velveta

Get smoker to 250 and insert cast iron skillet for preheat. I would allow a minimum of 30 minutes for this. 45 to an hour is good.

Meanwhile get to choppin up all the goodness.

Cook burger, onions, jalepeños together on the stove top. Season moderately with fajita seasoning of your choice

Add to skillet on smoker along with the tomatoes and velveta

Let the smoker do it’s thing for the next 30-45 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes or so.

Then you put dat on a chip duuude

a few more ingredients and I'd call it gunpowder dip. Good stuff either way.

I think next time, just for experimental purposes, I may throw a block or two of cream cheese in there.
