A day or so ago the GFS had it going in near La Pesca. The current run on Tropical Tidbits has it all the way over to near the Alabama Florida border. Long ways out for any certainty I suppose.

45 years living on the Texas coast and haven’t seen winds over 70mph, I’ll take 20 inches right now, tropical storm or cat 1-2 hurricane would be good

you must being living on some other texas coast,,,, i was in the middle of rita at 120mph, ike was doing around 90mph, and i can even recall all of them in the last 2 years that were doing better than 70,,,
