What do you guys use to keep the springs etc from rusting on a dukes style trap?

I have a shed at hunting camp. I have a few partially driven in nails high in the wall that i'll hang the traps from. Get as much dirt off as you can. If you cleaned them with water then let them dry. I keep a can of silicone spray lube with them. Each time that I hang them up i'll spray the springs down. It has worked well for me. I keep adding a couple traps each few years but the 8-10 yr old originals are still working perfectly.
