Just got back from that area. Places we hunted the birds had been bothered so much they would flush a hundred yards out and fly for half a mile. Good luck.

I would recommend larger shot and a tighter choke than you think you will need. Good luck. I have hunted around Hodgeman and Scott Counties in years past with decent success.

Man that's tough! I was hoping that being in January, the big early season rush would be over and the birds would settle back in. Did you stick pretty close in to Liberal?

We hunted close to Liberal. Hunted some up by Moscow also. Buddy killed one about an hour west of Liberal but did not see good numbers there.

Supposed to be gettin some snow. That might help with having them sit a little tighter depending on how much we get.

Be glad you're not here yet. The roads are slicker than greased monkey crap. There's been three bad wrecks already that I've heard about. Drove right by one of them.

We are here. Got in around 10 AM. Shot a couple roosters today and 1 bobwhite. It's getting nasty, we are at old Chicago enjoying a meal and a brew. The Super 8 leaves a lot to be desired. [emoji1787][emoji1787]
