The Hill Country Shootout is postponed!!!!

Just got official word that this years Traditional Bowhunters of Texas Hill Country Shootout is cancelled for the original dates of 4/17 - 4/18, 2020, and is officially postponed to a date as yet undetermined by TBoT officials due to the coronavirus pandemic.

This is very sad news, and I hope they can reschedule sooner than later!!!!!

As someone who's categorized as high risk due to some autoimmune stuff, I'm glad to see people taking this seriously, but that still sucks. Maybe I'll be able to make the rescheduled shoot though. I figured I was gonna miss all the good shoots this year.

my thoughts exactly. Just heard on the news this morning, only 54 cases in the State of Texas and of those they are only in 15 different counties. we have 254 counties across the state and only 54 cases in total....... come on people. wash your hands, and use good Hygiene practices and this will blow over.

Also in the high risk crow at 61+ yrs old. Also, got some time off work due to social distancing.

Current wisdom is that this could take 6 months to peak and slow down.
