Stepped out at 3 but the clouds were out and hide the moon and the eclipse from view. Hopefully someone will share pics of it.

We sat up and watched for an hour or so and really enjoyed it. Looked through binos and saw pretty much what Chew posted. Thanks for the heads up, Jerp.

We got up at just before 3 to see it. It was a stunningly clear night. I love cold, crisp clear nights.

So the dogs woke me at 3:10 and nature called so I got up and thought, gosh it sure is dark outside. Then it hit me to go look!

For the first time in my life I saw a full lunar eclipse and not a cloud in sight! I live 10 miles from town and the view with the stars was spectacular! It gives me chills thinking of it now in the daylight.

We got up and checked it out

Set my alarm for just before 3, when it went off I was a little confused

Walked outside and checked it out

When I came back to bed my wife asked what in the world I was doing

Had to get up to pee, so I saw pretty much what Chew posted at about 3:15... Was a beautifully clear, crisp morning out of the Prairie and it was 40 degrees so I didn't stay outside in my birthday suit very long... Went back in and crawled under the covers... for a quick 2 hour nap before having to get up to get ready for work...
