How many 13” or better bucks statewide can you take?

Looking a purchasing property either in another county or out of state for hunting purposes. If I stay in state, can I take a second buck over 13” in a different county than I live in, or is it just one over 13” for the whole state?

You can take 3 bucks. I've been hunting all weekend in north TX in a 2 buck County and shot 2 over 13". I still have a buck tag for our East TX place. I kill multiple bucks in multiple counties almost every year.

What county are you in to shoot two over 13”?

Like they said OP, yes you can kill a 13” buck in different counties as long as you have buck tags.

              Likely one without Antler Restrictions.

Thank you. Now to decide Arkansas or Texas lol, and what counties in TX would
                  Fit my needs.

I can kill a 13”+ in for example: Wood, Rains and Hunt county all are AR counties but I can shoot 1 13”+ in each

I like the combination of an East Texas County mixed with a North Texas County with no AR that allows two bucks. I don't know anything about Arkansas hunting.

Was leaning more toward AR for bear hunting. But not a deal breaker. I like the idea of being able to take 3 bucks and not leaving the state or paying non resident license fees.

Yep. I can too in the non restricted counties I hunt.

Since the OP mentioned the 13” rule I figured he was talking about AR counties, hence my question. I didn’t think there was an AR County that allowed more than one over 13”.
