        Just dropped some coin:

        Volquarsten light rifle tension barrel
Kidd: custom trigger 2 stage 6oz
        Victor company stock

        Now we wait.

Went cheap with mine but it's still a tack driver. Started with a second hand 10-22 I bought for $60 30 years ago. Built mine mostly from the Midway catalog. Green Mountain blued .920 barrel, extended bolt release, Ruger BX trigger (from Academy) and Boyds Thumbhole stock (From Boyds). Also bolt buffer form the local hardware store (google it).
May not be as cool as some of the stuff available and popular now but it has cost me less than $300 all totaled including original purchase price. And as said above its a one ragged holer @ 50 yds. PS, that hardware store buffer has taken on hundreds if not 1000+ rounds and still tickin!

Should make for a nice little build!

How much was all that if you don’t mind!?

What are y’all getting the best results with?

In my factory configuration im getting about 3/5-1” using CCI mini mags and 1-1.25” with Norma at 50 yards.

I shoot bulk federal mostly. That Whistle Pig will stack whatever you feed it.

So do you just start w/ a basic 10/22 then swap out the parts, or build it fully custom?

Most people start with basic rifle but you can build from the ground up.

So my build officially started today.

I installed my Kidd 2 stage 3oz/6oz trigger and a 20moa rail along with an old primary arms 4-16x44 scope.

The Kidd trigger is pretty dang nice I must say and shrunk my groups by half easily.

Yesterday I did a test fire with the rifle in a factory configuration with a 3x bsa scope at 50 yards. my best group was just under 1” and averaged about 1.25” using 3 different types of ammo.

Today I did the same test but with the new trigger and optics here was the result
