Archery Only area in SHNF

Hello everyone,

Wanted to ask how the archery only area near Cagle is in the SHNF. I have hunted the other areas but never ventured into the archery only area. Is it quieter? Do hunters see animals? Not sure what the purpose of an archery only area is haha, maybe the animals go there during general season hoping to stay safe.

How is the hog and deer activity there from years prior? I wouldn't be asking these questions but have been stuck in Europe for two months and was unable to scout.

I stomped around it last summer a little and saw a few deer, an old feeder, and several people/vehicles. So it's pretty typical SHNF. I didn't put much effort into it but I'm sure if you walked far enough or went in by boat somehow it could be productive.

Its purpose is its next to campgrounds so youll have people up all night partyin then stumble into the archery only area to try and stick a deer could be great hunting
