    ? about grilling mahi mahi

    Am I supposed to trim the red out of the meat that runs down the middle or can I leave it? Its my first time to grill this fish. Going to also make some Yvette sauce to top it with plus dirty rice as the side. Thanks

      Most say its a waste if meat to trim but I always trim out all red meat no matter the fish.

        Yes, trim it out of the dolphin it will taste stronger than the rest of the meat in a fresh fish and even worse in one that has been frozen. Caught hundreds of them in FL and always cut out the bloodline on them.

          I agree, take out that part and you'll get a much cleaner flavor. Love me some Mahi..
