          That had to be a great week.

          Thought so from the stock.
          The first one I bought was a special as well.
          Then a couple of Service Grades.
          Then a 1945 Springer that had been re barreled by a 'smith in Austin using a new Criterion barrel.

          The special and the 45 Springer are very accurate, much more accurate than my Geneso Springfield M1A loaded.

          Glad to see I'm not the only Garand nut on here !

            Outstanding. Really liked the M-1, carried it in Germany and Lebanon but never thought about using it as a Civvy, you have encouraged me to rethink that..!
