Just finished testing some elk loads for my .308 and I have decided on the 165gr accubond they shot great at least at 100 yards. I got a batch loaded to test out to 400 yards or so.

These should be more than enough bullet to kill even the biggest bulls 165gr Nosler accubond@2803 FPS...

I really like the Accubond. What will be your fps & ft./lb. @ 400 yards?

My favorite bullet. Just wish I could still buy them factory loaded.

In what round? They are readily available in most.

                    165 Nosler Accubond
                    45grains IMR 4064
                    Starline match .308 Small primer
                    CCI 450 Small rifle primer
                    Length to Ogive 2.255

This is a pretty heavy charge and in my rifle it shows light flattening primers.

I love that Accubond. I loaded them in my 7/08 and they were very accurate. Several hogs and a good whitetail buck feel to that bullet.

I'm loading the 130 Accubond in my 6.5 Swede as well as my 6.5 PRC.

Yes that was a 5 shot average out of a 26” barrel.

I just started loading them for my .260 also plan on using them for elk and mule deer out of both rifles. How is the performance out of the Swede?
