Cerakoted Benelli M2

I thought shotguns barrels and actions couldn’t be cerakoted because they tend to get pretty hot? I’m guessing that’s not actually true?

Cerakote holds up quite well to heat. It’s really only suppressors that get hot enough to ruin cerakote. We’ve done a ton of shotguns and barrels in general, I have an M&P 2.0 with the barrel coated and it’s worn off in the high wear areas but other than that the color is fine.

This job would run about $500, $425 for cerakote and the rest is disassembly and reassembly. This is a custom blue mix and 4 other colors plus the time.
