    Traditional FSC Week 47

Going to practice a hunting shot taken seated or on a knee (one or two) from 12 yards (8 for kids). Target will be a small dot at the intersection of folds: one made in a piece of copy paper longways with another folded about three inches from one side as shown in pic below. Two shots -- first of a day -- with up to three days' tries allowed. Measure and total shots distance from nearest part of shaft to center of dot. Off the paper doubles the measurement for that arrow (touching the paper counts as on the paper). Tie-breaker is best, earliest total.

    Have fun; good luck!

Lots of room for improvement; elevation not bad, but well right. Maybe not wanting to be off paper left.
      Day1: 4-5/8" & 5-7/8". Total 10-1/2"

Got a couple minutes of downtime at work, and decided to step out by the light of the rig and give this one a go.

          Nice shooting, Fellow . Post up your total, can't quite make it out. Looks like 7/8 + 2 3/8 = 3 1/4"

Thanks Rebel! I forgot to add the math, but you saw it pretty well.

Happy with the first shot, not so much with the second. Shots taken kneeling both knees.

                  Shot 1: 3/4"
                  Shot 2: 5 3/8" x 2= 10 3/4"

                  Total: 11 1/2"

This is my first time trying these. I just started religiously shooting the recurve 2 weeks ago. So here goes. Today was day one shooting off a 5 gallon bucket. Can’t kneel down due to tearing my meniscus back in October.
                              1st shot was 4”
                              2nd shot was 3 7/8”
                              Total 7 7/8”

Then my son shot he’s 13, shot from 8yrds
                              1st shot was 1 1/8”
2nd shot was off the paper 5 3/4”
                              Total 6 1/4”
