Just got back from consulation with the Doctor. The cancer is confined to the left kidney and there is no sign of it anywhere else. I go in for surgery on Tuesday and they will remove the left kidney. They may also have to remove the urether and part of the bladder. This should take care of the problem, and except for some diminished kidney function I should be able to lead a full active life.

The bad news is that I'm not going to be able to shoot my bow for about a month and won't be able to do any lifting.
