Based on my minimal aging experience I'm thinking 4.5..Thoughts?

3.5 for sure, maybe a 4.5 but no older than that. This time of year after a hard rut it sometimes makes it hard to tell.

I don't know the deer in Milam county but he sure has some long legs to be 4.5 years old. Small hocks and he looks like he could run for days! 3.5 for me.

Guess I was trying to make him older than he is. I had first thought 3.5 but thought he looked a little round in the midsection.

            I can't possibly see 4.5

I would guess the closest high fence is probably 5-6 miles away.

I think so too but I would be willing to bet he doesn't make it thru the season.

Where do you hunt? Do you know your neighbors? Lots of big deer being grown in Milam county these days. People are managing better.

I know two of the neighbors but not the other. Plus this buck is new to my place so I have to assume he was passing thru.
