One of my framers built me this table out of some damaged roof trusses and 2x6 tongue and grove because he said he appreciated everything I have done for him while he was working for me. I told him I was collecting 2x4 material to build one and he asked for my plans.

Now I have to figure out what color of stain to use. The wife wants a dark color I want to just torch it and clear coat for a nice rustic look. I guess a smart would fall back on happy wife happy life.

A walnut stain would look nice on that. The sweet part is it's a table like no other! Always nice to have a "one of a kind".

Or you could just leave it natural and let it age naturally with use!
