New World Record long distance shot

Obviously this is cold bore, which I realize is counter to what these other guys did. But just read up on the details, understand how absurd that is, and realize it was less than 1/2 the distance of the topic of this thread. And that 2nd half is WAAAY harder than the 1st.

New World Record, gotta brag a little

I think it would be fun to do this if I had the time and money.

Calculation of the ideal bullet path is childs play in today's measurement systems and compute environments.
Shoot enough and you'll eventually hit a 1" target. All about statistics at that point.

69 shots vs 169 vs 690, where do you stop, for records sake.

I shot a running jackrabbit from a moving polaris ranger in the BACK SEAT last weekend. I Was all pumped up on dos equis and little debbie fudge brownies.

1st shot. let me know when my article is coming out.

It’s not all luck but there definitely is a lot involved.

Just thinking about doping wind curvature of the earth and rotation of the earth hurts my head at that distance

The team in the article said they were surprised it took such few shots.

I can't even see that far and way to much math involved. Lots of skill just to get in the neighborhood

I'm curious as to what the rules are for said record. Is there such as rules or a governing body for this.

I take nothing away from the huge accomplishment but would love to see them hit a 1 moa target 3of 5 attempts after warm ups.

In reality 1 moa is tough at half that distance.
