Lamco Low and Throw is the best. There’s several tied for 2nd.

Lamco should pay you to be a spokesman.....

Anyway, lots of great options now at various price points. Consider ASF, Ranch King, and many others in addition to Lamco.

I have HB 700 EZ Reach, HB 400 EZ Reach that I bought new and never had any issues.

I have 2 x crossfire 1000 that where on the new acreage when I got it only had battery issues with them.

All those are solar and 12volt.

The other feeders on the ranch suck so not mentioning them.

Are the ASF pretty much the same price everywhere or do some have better deals?

I've got the Lamco and the ASF (not the bucees one but they seem good for the price). I like the ease of filling the Lamco but the design makes it harder to work on. Had the spinner plate come loose from the shaft and had to disassemble the bottom to fix it. ASF uses a regular feeder box but is tall enough a shorter guy might have to lift the bags overhead. Ive used capsule feeders as well. I'd take the lamco.

I need um easy to work on. All season survives lots of pigs. The one w the steel bottom. Not the buccees one.

Lamco Lo and Throw 600 for me.... I also have a Bucees ASF 600 and a 600 lb Woods2Water directional to compare them too.....the Woods to Water directional is slowly becoming my second favorite but it needs the **** battery gauge on the timer to work before I bump it up. So far so good on the feeding side after removing the rheostat..

Not sure either would ever surpass the Lamco though. In fact if the W2W ends up not working out, it will be a Lamco 600 to replace it.
