Walked into La Quinta in Tyler to check in my team. The tv in the lobby had Blazin Saddles on.
I thought that was a interesting movie in a lobby of a hotel. I turned towards the desk and a young black lady 25-30 was working the desk. I thought oh my. I guess I had a look on my face like oops. She said Do you like Blazin Saddles? I stubbled and stammered and she quickly said, I love that movie. Me and my dad watch it all the time. He knows every line. I told her that I knew most of the lines and it was an old man movie and she laughed.
All was good.

The ending of that movie was just too much. It’s still a classic minus the last 10 minutes or so.

Gotta be the all time movie quote leader right? Maybe Lonesome Dove or Outlaw Josey Wales or Airplane! or ??? for a distant second place? Have watched this movie a lot, and so far not one quote I’ve read that I cannot place the exact scene. Have not seen this one mentioned yet but it always make me laugh from Jim The Waco Kid “I must have killed more men than Cecil B. DeMille.”
