I try to stay away from the grocery store to keep the wife happy. Like most men I return with maybe five bags of crap that caught my eye and half of what I actually went there for. Today I stopped off the get some groceries to keep at work and those little green terrorists were parked at the front door. Not Hezbola or the Taliban, but the dreaded Girl Scouts. I passed by on the way inside and they were sizing me up for how many boxes of cookies they could shame me into buying. On the way out of the store, BAMM! They got me for two boxes of peanut butter sandwich cookies. When I got to work I sat down with a cup of Black Rifle “Silencer Smooth” coffee and opened the first package of peanut buttery goodness, and ***? I got shorted half a cookie and all of that cookie’s peanut butter. I survived the Rome airport bombings and Beirut in the 80’s, but this will be tough.

When I see them I put my phone to my ear and pretend like I’m on a call. They don’t approach you when you do that. The only cookies I eat are my wife’s.

I used to buy the thin mints but they were getting expensive and half the box was air since they were spaced out so far.

Then I found the same exact cookies at Walmart that were under a dollar with about 3-4 times as many mints.

I always tell them no to the cookies but donate 20 bucks. It's a win win.

the extortionists got me for 40.00 the other day. Its always the same...

"Mister (HEY you sucker)

would you like a box of cookies (hey fat so.. I got your number and Know where you live)

(then the line) Ohhh (sad look in the eyes) you only wanted that one box (hey cheap *** we saw you get cash back inside) "

Then they hand you a credit application for organ donor sheet for the the other 3 boxes you are about to buy.

I wish I could have 100 of them on my sales team.
