Yup, that's why it's a silly rule. Encourages people to s*** post whereas there's no loophole to length of membership.

I believe you also get instant access if you purchase a supporting membership though.

Spend a few bucks and become a Supporting Member. Should give you access, that’s what I did when I first joined and I renew it still to support the costs of running the site.
