      Sac a Lait
Bream, big chinquopin, not sure real name for them. Also called lake runner?
      Bass
      Salmon
      Catfish

That's all I have eaten and liked really. Some old boys cooked some choupique at the camp and it wasn't bad.

A wild caught tilapia beats everything in freshwater, and more versatile in the kitchen too.
you nailed it wild tilapia is i think the best not that farm raised junk
and i think channel cat is over rated always has a taste of dirt to me

War mouth and rock bass caught in a good spring fed creek or river are dang good
We used to catch them all over the Hillcounrty’s creeks and rivers before people dried up the springs,
Gutted and gilled, scaled pan fried in corn meal
              Same with creek bass

I thought of wild tilapia but figure most here rather have the poo farm ones.

I seen a guy on an unnamed lake fill two 94qt igloos with tilapia via a cast net. Took him maybe half an hour

I agree with what you said about channel cats.
We have a 35’ deep spring fed pond, the cats are pretty **** good

I don't get the crappie thing , it's like baby food , texture is horrible.
                      Salmon is amazing
                      Walleye is really good
Brook trout is way up there
                      Sturgeon is good

Get the right weather and you can fill up some coolers quick with wild tilapia by the hot water discharge
Good eating fish from clean water

This is close. I’d put striper before cats

Shhh. Probably a chemical plant discharge or something.
