I commute from Coleman to Abilene at 4:00 am daily. In 7 years I've hit 3 deer and a pig. Last month a very close call with a black cow. And the strangest close call was a full sized couch laying across my lane. I've learned to just slow down to 55 mph. It only adds about 10 minutes to my drive. Glad nobody got hurt. Vehicles are easily repaired.

Bisch try putting those deer whistles on y'alls vehicles. I worked with a fellow that hit 3 deer in a year, after he put the whistles on he never hit another deer.
