Did you “fly” to Hawaii? I thought a “fly” was a bug.
There are other words that only have one meaning. Mom, why is that hillbilly so “uneducated?”
Their, there, they're....you're/your right

Kill: This is what I say. We kill the animal. No need to church it up.
Harvest: PC term. I'll never say it, but I really don't care if you do.
Smoke: This is the dumbest term in all of hunting. I cringe when I hear people say this, whether on TV or in person. You sound like a wanna-be gangbanger and you are a lesser person for saying it.

LMAO! I would have laughed...
Growing up in a farming community, "Haeeeer-vest" said by yankees is one of my pet peeves. It just is. We kill, shoot, choot, smoke, whack, stack, thwaack, zip and let the air out of deer..

I think it was a means to church it up and make hunting more sound more appealing and less brutal to the non hunting crowd and appease the anti-hunting crowd by using a euphemism for what we are really doing, killing a living, sentient being.
I don't say "harvest" I say "kill" because I believe anything less than owning what you do is disrespectful to the animals we kill.
