High water and 4 Horsemen make a good cork too.

        These no good anymore?

Seriously though, I dont get to fish anymore and only used popping corks when dragging bait for redfish over shell, but those Coastal Corks look legit.

I caught a few million sand bass on those when I was a kid fishing Eagle Mountain lake with my dad. Double jigs under those corks and tore em up. Havent used any of those in years tho. Brings back some memories

Last trip out Son & I limited out reds/trout using Freddy Petty's FP3...hand made & the loudest cork I've ever used.

We tried them all and alway had better luck with black plastic rattle corks. Many times we would catch 2 to 1 over standard popping corks.

                    Thanks for the info.
Anyone know much about heading to east cut on south padre? How far of a drive off road? I have a 4wd. But they can still get stuck.

Any more advice on good locations and techniques much appreciated.

Coastal corks and high water corks are what I prefer.
