How crazy does Lake Lewisville get during the 4th?

Texoma is a no go on any holiday. Hell I think they'll have a blowout for Arbor Day.

I would go to a different lake. They are all pretty busy though I would assume for the holiday. Lewisville is a beast though when busy.

I was on Ray Hubbard a few years ago on the 4th of July.It wasn't bad when everyone was anchored out,and kicked back..Seemed to me that around 2pm everybody got good,and tanked up.It was a ****show after that.We loaded up about 4pm..Funny thing was,the ones that were really gamey,were just puttin' out!

When I flew with CareFlite we made several trips each 4th of July holiday for boat wrecks, drownings, unconscious idiots... you couldnt pay me to get on that lake now for 4th of July (despite the fact that i'm in Colorado now...)

Back in the 90s it was the most dangerous lake in Texas. Has that changed? I doubt it.
