My first rattlesnake

We came to our lease to do a little work and hang out. My youngest was walking with his momma, to the cabin to cook breakfast this morning. When he spotted a snake, they turned around and got me. One round from a 300blk and a shovel to remove the head.....and this is where we are. I’ve never seen one in the wild, let alone on our lease.
